Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov, who oversees space and the defense industry in the government, will leave his post in the near future, two sources familiar with the discussion of the issue told RBC, and also confirmed RBC's source in the military-industrial complex (OPK) complex, a federal official and ex-government official.
According to sources familiar with the discussion of the issue, Borisov may take the position of head of Roskosmos, which is currently held by Dmitry Rogozin. This information was also confirmed by a former government official. An RBC source from the defense industry said he did not know what specific position Borisov was being considered for, but he had heard that it could be a "major industrial asset."
Roskosmos did not comment on this information. RBC also sent a request to Borisov's office.
On July 11, it became known that the State Duma was urgently returned from vacation for an extraordinary meeting on July 15. The next day, President Vladimir Putin , by his decree , increased the number of deputy prime ministers from 10 to 11. The new deputy prime minister will combine this position with the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, follows from the decree. Now the ministry is headed by Denis Manturov. On the same day, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin nominated Manturov for a new position, according to the government website. The State Duma will consider it on July 15.
Denis Manturov is 53 years old, he has been in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for ten years - since May 2012, and before that he worked as Deputy Minister of the Minister for another five years. Since then, he has been the head of the supervisory board of the state corporation Rostec, whose CEO is Sergey Chemezov. Manturov is also a member of the Military Industrial Commission, the Board of Directors of Gazprom and the Supreme Supervisory Board of the All-Russian Swimming Federation.
For the past three years, the official has become the richest minister: at the end of 2019, he reported on earned 586 million rubles, 2020 - 740 million rubles, 2021 - 704.6 million rubles. He is the only government member who owns a Tesla car.

Yuri Borisov, 65, has been deputy prime minister for more than four years. In May 2018, he replaced Dmitry Rogozin at this post.
